The last day...

Wow, 2003 has come and gone. But, what a year it has been! I've gotten to see my child take her first steps, say her first (understandable) words, and experience her first birthday. Stacey and I bought a new house this year (yikes, but cool). At church, we moved into our first building and experienced a lot of other "firsts" (i.e., dramas, public band performances, etc.). We made new friends, deepened existing friendships, and (hopefully) engage people's lives for the better. Granted, looking back on every year, I can think of things I would have liked to have seen/done differently, but I can't really complain. 2003 was a good year.

Tonight, there's a party at Eli's house to celebrate the new year (and the old, I guess). I hope a lot of people turn out. I picked up a small stash of fireworks this afternoon, so maybe we can have some fun with that. Jack - stay away from the ones that say "blue with tail...or anything with an exceptionally long fuse, for that matter...LOL.

Goodbye 2003.

KEY PHRASES: "Okay, anyone in the band who has NOT purchased, repaired, or finally received new musical equipment lately raise your hand and say, 'Wooooooooo.'" "Oh, crap...Dave's back...did we clean up all those empty beer bottles?" (j/k...lol).
