Riding the flow...

Sadly, I don't have any cool songs to put after a "Currently Playing CD" heading. Right now, it's more like "Current Obnoxious Noise," which, in this case, is the buzzing of the air conditioner. But what's cool about that?

Spent a good portion of this afternoon creating a video for church, but it's been such a "create-trash-startover" process, I don't feel like my now simple rough draft of a video NEARLY indicates the time I've put into this. Oh, well...such is life.

On another note, thanks to Kyle for running my Fender to his guitar specialist in Huntsville to have it all set up. I picked it up at his (correction: his parents') house during lunchtime. The action's a lot better (what do I know, though...I thought it was good before..hehe). After playing my old Epiphone as a 'substitute' for a couple of days, I'm very much looking forward to playing a better-built, better-sounding guitar again.

The rest of my day so far involved a Happy Meal, forgetting to call Stacey about some insurance info, messing around with sequencing on the Roland (to add music to the video), and all the standard stay-at-home-dad responsibilities (i.e., "Kailyn, come here." "Kailyn, sit down." "Kailyn, leave me alone so I can work." "Kailyn, ask to 'go potty' BEFORE you actually go." "Kailyn, you're not supposed to open a bag of peanuts and pour them all over the floor." Heh...I love her, but good grief...).

KEY PHRASE: "John Kerry for President!" (remember, I put 'humorous' phrases in here.)
