Things that run through my head when I can't sleep...

13. "What in the crap is wrong with me...no one, I mean NO ONE sane would have the 'Who's Johnny' theme from the movie 'Short Circuit' running through their head at night except me. Curse you, Satan..."
12. "Am I geek if I like to watch 'Monk?'"
11. "Hahahaha...that Simpsons episode with Stampy the elephant was the best!"
10. "No one cared about my Subazda joke...come to think of it, I don't either."
9. "It really is easier to sleep when you don't eat Mexican food covered with jalapenos...wait, I'm still awake. D'oh!"
8. "Why the long face?" "I'm John Kerry."
7. "I don't remember doing anything to cause that kind of odor."
6. "At least Scott and Joel are awake at this time, too."
5. "Oh no...I might have missed a sale at Dillard's. Dang you, mood swings!"
4. "Oh no...I might have missed out on the the Sheffield 'bargain of the week'. Dang you, mood swings!"
3. "I wonder who's playing Joint Ops at 4 a.m. CDT."
2. "How can one nostril stay so clear and the other one fill like I shoved a grape up in it. Dang you, weak, allergy-prone sinuses...dang you."
1. "I wonder what I'll blog about tomorrow..."

In the real world, I was a bit 'miffed' at missing the Guad gathering last night. But pregnant women prone to nausea...that can dictate what/when you eat. Still, I could've gone by myself, but it was kinda nice, too, to just stay home and 'veg out' for the evening.

In other news...Ol' Mount St. Helens is supposed to erupt again soon. And to think...if one of the job prospects I had a couple of years ago had worked out, that volcano would be a regular sight in my daily life. I don't know why that creeps me out a bit...

Stacey and I are still a bit anxious about having another child. One minute, it's cool (maybe in that minute we're not thinking about it...). The next, we're freaked out a bit at thinking about having not one, but two kids to take care of. Still, most of the people I know with 2 kids seem to be surviving/have survived. And, I keep reminding myself that I used to be TERRIFIED of being a dad before Kailyn came along. Now I can't imagine life without her... That's the hope I'm going to cling to...

WORTH REPEATING: "Even housebroken animals can make 'mistakes'...um, when they're apparently sick...and then, well, let's just say a lot of motorized equipment was used in cleanup."

i'm impressed.....comments were added. indeed i was up at 4 in the morning. i was up at 7 in the morning. it was neat cause last night i talked to two people i don't normally talk to when i come home from work. 1 - lauren, she was up waay early for school. 2 - eric, getting ready for work. it was then i realized. while everyone is working, i am sleeping. lovely life. but if you are considering joining our side, i completely support it. but from the sounds if it you actually wanted to sleep. oh well. hope you recovered from your more than ample supply of awakageness.
